TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Harry Govier Seeley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date5 October 1891
DescriptionRix recently saw Dr Michael Foster, and he asked him whether there was any objection to Seeley publishing, with his forthcoming paper, an illustration taken from the specimen described in his former archived paper, along with a footnote or few notes of reference in the text. Foster does not think there will be any objection and that no official permission is needed, as the matter does not come under any Royal Society regulations.

The reference to the previous paper will come to the notice of the Secretaries in the ordinary course of reviewing the proof, and any criticisms will be communicated in the usual manner of corrections.
