TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor William Edward Ayrton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date7 October 1891
DescriptionRix states that Mr Robertson's paper was returned from Ayrton whilst he was on vaction, and suggests that the two parts appeared to have been kept back under the impression that they were to go together. He has now sent it on.

He believes that the defects in the illustrations of the Electrometer paper will disappear when the blocks are "brought up" for printing, but he will consult with Mr Collings. Rix also explains that the application from the Council Institute should go to the Library Committee first, but he will put it down for Council as Ayrton seems to want this, though he expects that they will refer it.
