TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to B F Stevens, 4 Trafalgar Square, W.C.
Date9 October 1891
DescriptionRix has Stevens' application to photograph the portrait of Benjamin Franklin to hand, and notes what he says about the advisability of photographing it very soon. The next Council meeting does not take place until 29 October, and so, as he belives any objection to the reproduction unlikely, he proposes that Stevens be allowed to photograph the picture at once, providing he gives his assurance that it will not be published until after the next Council meeting.
