TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Secretary, K K Akademie der Wissenschaften, Vienna [Austria]
Date9 October 1891
DescriptionRix explains that a large package has arrived at the Royal Society, containing a number of packages for distribution to other institutions, but none for the Society itself. He clarifies that the Society does not undertake such distribution, especially in the case of many of the institutions which are located at some distance from them, including one in Tasmania.

Rix has requested that Messrs Dulau & Company collect the parcel and distribute for the usual rate of commission. He advises that they send such material directly to Messrs Dulau & Company in future.
