TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society
Date12 November 1891
DescriptionRix states that they were expecting Foster that day, but as he did not attend, he encloses minutes for his approval, which are to be returned once Foster has read them. He asks whether he may give assent to an enclosed item [not included] in anticipation of Council, as the Council will not meet until 10 or 17 December.

Rix also asks if Foster can sign the enclosed receipt and return it before Monday, as the accountant will want it on that day.

A postscript refers to a letter to Foster from W J Collins which he brought to the attention of the Committee, and asks if he should send on the Foster.
