TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Shelford Bidwell, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date20 November 1891
DescriptionRix understood from Bidwell, when he handed in Dr Dawson Turner's paper, that his preference would be to withdraw it rather than have it 'negatived'. The Secretaries have therefore asked Rix to inform him that the referees have reported unfavourably on the paper, so that it will be archived if it goes to the Committee of Papers. He can withdraw it, so long as he does so before the paper is read to the Society, or he could let the paper take its course.
