TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr Pilbeam, Manager, Whitehall Rooms
Date2 December 1891
Description'Dear Mr Pilbeam,
I have examined your account, and it appears to be correct. It would have saved us some trouble if the cards had all been signed, & another time we shall have to get your man to insist upon everyone signing his card. However, we know pretty accurately who were not present & the balance comes out right. I send herewith £203-14-0 collected from Fellows. The balance of £29-19-0 will be paid by the Council, & you shall have a cheque for it next week. Kindly let me have separate receipts for the two amounts.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
