Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Charles Herbert] Lees, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 6 May 1914 |
Description | Understands Lees wishes for his Committee to meet the day after the Soiree. Harrison is about the issue summonses, on the condition that Lees takes the risk of there being no room fit to sit in so soon after the Soiree.
As to Pawlow's paper, Dr [Arthur] Schuster, after seeing the' two reports and receiving an unofficial letter from Professor Bragg, suggests that, subject to Lees' concurrence, the author should be offered publication on condition of his leaving out the historical introduction occupying the first page and half of the paper. |
