TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [John Ambrose] Fleming, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date8 April 1914
DescriptionThe Physical Secretary and the Chairman of the Committee to which it was sent are prepared to recommend Professor E Wilson's paper 'On the properties of magnetically shielded iron as affected by temperature' for publication without waiting for a meeting. They would be glad if the author could see his way to shortening the paper somewhat. It is proposed to publish the illustration, but a suggestion has been made that a larger number of vertical and horizontal lines should be drawn for convenience of reading off on the scales and the values of the coordinates. Wilson will no doubt be willing to fall in with this suggestion.
