TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Horace Lamb, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 July 1914
DescriptionHas heard from the Chairman of the Committee which has asked him to report on Jeans's paper, and he thinks on the whole it would be safer and better if Lamb did not enter into direct correspondence with the author, but let any communication he wishes to make to him pass through the Committee in the regular and formal way. This ties his hands as a referee from entering into an informal correspondence.
