TitleCopy letter from William Crookes, to The Honorable [Herbert Henry] Asquith
Date29 July 1914
DescriptionIn sending the accompanying letter [no enclosures], which seems expedient to place in his hands at as early a date as possible for official consideration, Crookes asks that Asquith would allow the date for the reception of the deputation to stand over until the autumn. As the Royal Society and other Scientific bodies interested are not now in session it would be difficult to make the necessary arrangements for the attendance of the members of the deputation before October.
