TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Micaiah John Muller] Hill, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date13 August 1914
DescriptionProfessor Love was unable to report on the paper by [James Hopwood] Jeans on 'The potential of ellipsoidal bodies, etc', so it was referred in the first instance to Dr Dyson, whom Hill had nominated as a second referee. His report was entirely favourable, without any criticisms whatsoever. Dr Dyson is now away in Australia and may not be back until after Christmas. Asks the Chairman to instruct further.
