TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Edmund Beecher] Wilson, Wood's Hole, Massachusetts, USA
Date14 September 1914
DescriptionHas received his letter relating to the publication of his Croonian lecture. Has also had his earlier letter on the subject of illustrations. As in the earlier letter he left the matter in the hands of the Royal Society, and they have been trying to get the point settled, but it is difficult to make much progress with such matters at present, as he will quite understand.

A referee has been named, who has been specially asked to report on the question of the desirability of illustrations, and his report may be received any day. It would be well for him to forward the several diagrams for the illustrations of the lecture. Regarding publication of the lecture in 'Science', the practice is not to publish the paper elsewhere in advance of it appearing in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'.
