TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Francis Fox, Alyn Bank, Wimbledon
Date27 October 1914
DescriptionIs sorry that he is unable to comply with the request in his letter. Thought he knew that it is entirely contradictory for the Royal Society to recognize a candidate for the Fellowship taking steps to promote his cadnidature. Such activity militates against success, and it is strictly forbidden to give blank certificates to anyone by a Fellow. If his friends wish to help him be a member, they can do so by bestirring themselves to take the necessary steps.
