They are to be awarded to: Sir Joseph John Thomson for the Copley, Lord Rayleigh for the Rumford, Professor Ernest William Brown and Professor William Johnson Sollas for the Royal, Professor Edward Bagnall poulton for the Darwin, and Professor John Sealy Townsend for the Hughes. Where medals are gold duplicates of silver are required.
