Description'The Committee of the Royal Society for advising the Government on subjects connected with the War at their meeting yesterday appointed you Chairman of the Physics sub-Committee, with Dr Glazebrook as Vice Chairman, and nominated Professor S W J Smith to act as Secretary to the sub-Committee is as follows:- Mr C V Boys, Mr Sidney Brown, Mr W Duddell, Dr R T Glazebrook, Sir Oliver Lodge, Lord Rayleigh, Prof Schuster, Prof S W J Smith, and Prof Silvanus Thompson.
All the sub-Committees are to hold their first meetings here on Thursday, November 26th at 2.30.'
