Professor Starling, who was one of the original referees of this paper and to whom the amended paper was referred, now reports in favour of publication. As the Council referred the matter back to the two Sectional Committees, I presume no further [action] can be taken until your Committee meets.
Lewis and Rothschild's paper.
We have now received a second favourable report on this paper. In view of the approaching meeting of your Committee I am holding the paper back for their formal recommendation.'
