Description'In reply to your request for a copy, if obtainable, of our "Proceedings" containing the paper by Mr Carothers, I have directed our Printers to send you the number, with an invoice.
In regard to your general enquiry on the subject of the flow of oil, I fear I am unable to do more than refer you to workers on the subject, who might be able either to give you first-hand information or to suggest the names of other persons who might be.
Should you think it worth while to write to Mr Carothers, his address is (or was) 43 Whitehall Road, Southsea, Hants.'
