TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Sir Francis Darwin FRS
Date24 November 1914
Description'In reply to your letter of yesterday, I enclose a copy of the letter sent to Professor Bose in accordance with the resolution of the Committee of Papers. In reply to that letter Bose sent in the amended paper which is now is in your hands, together with a covering letter, saying "I will mention in my paper that the original records were reproduced with absolute accuracy by the photographic process of reproduction. Most of these original records being taken on a smoked glass surface, could not with safety be transported to Europe".
The Committee decided that the revised paper, when received, should be referred back to the two Committees.
If you really think a meeting is necessary and will telegraph tomorrow I will send out a summons for December 2 at 3 o'clock.'
