TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Captain Henry George Lyons RE, FRS
Date17 February 1915
Description'According to the minutes based on my notes of the last Gassiot meetings the small Committee with reference to the Valencia Superintendentship was appointed "to nominate for the post", with instructions to refer back to the main Committee upon any question of principle that may arise. I take that to mean that the small Committee was to nominate direct to the Meteorological Office; the conditions of salary and so on were to be as proposed the Director.'
