Description'I am directed by the President and Council of the Royal Society to beg that His Majesty's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs will be so good as to cause the sincere thanks of the Society to be conveyed through the proper channels to the British Minister at Stockholm for the valuable assistant which he rendered to the Eclipse Expedition under the Rev. Father Cortie during August last.'
