TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to William Bate Hardy FRS
Date27 April 1915
DescriptionHarrison writes that he forgot to tell Hardy that Professor Starling had been in and asked Harrison to apply to the Board of Agriculture for payment on account of the grant for Swine Fever. This Harrison did and he encloses the reply [no enclosure].
Harrison also writes that it has not been practice for the Royal Society to keep detailed accounts of expenditure on special enquiries subsidized by the Government, and Harrison does not think it will work well in this case. Harrison explains how the accounts are managed and writes that he thinks they should render quarterly rather than monthly.
