DescriptionHarrison writes to tell Walker that the Royal Society Council passed a resolution that a sum of £50 be grant out if the Observatories Committee apply for a grant for Professor Fowler.
It would be necessary that a definite application be sent to the Royal Society and it may be difficult to get the Committee together next week.
Harrison encloses a copy of a letter to Turner and the Astronomer Royal [no enclosure].
