TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to the Hon. Secretaries, Professional Classes War Belief Council, 14 Prince's Gate, SW
Date4 December 1914
Description'I have received your letter of the 1st instant, and in reply should be very glad to know if you can recommend to us a young man for the post of junior clerk here for the duration of the war. The essential qualifications are intelligence, [irreprochable] character, and good hand and typewriting. I should be glad if you would explain more fully the conditions of payment as regards to the Relief Council; and trust that you will be able to favour me with an early answer as we are anxious to engage someone as soon as possible.'
