TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Professor John Bretland Farmer, Chairman of the Botany Committee
Date27 May 1915
Description'Paper by W L Balls and F S Holton on " Analyses of agricultural yield part II".
Mr Ridley reports in favour of publication in the Phil[osophical] [Trans]actions with all the illustrations excepting one photograph. He says "The paper is very full of detail and I think could have been shortened if written on a different system, but it is difficult to see how to condense it at all now. I think the paper to be quite important enough to be printed by the Royal Society".
You will remember that the Committee decided to recommend the paper for publication, subject to a favourable report by Mr Ridley.'
