DescriptionAt the beginning of the war the Royal Society offered its services to the Admiralty, War Office, and Board of Trade; Harrison is glad to say that their assistance has been made use of. Harrison writes that men of science who are free for the summer vacation from institutions would be keen to help in any way they can, and sees that Cambridge University are organising a census of students which could be of assistance.
Harrison writes that any assistance the Royal Society can provide to the Ministry of Munitions they will be happy to provide.
