| Description | 'In response to your enquiries I have signed all the insurance exemption cards which I have here in respect of Miss Mackie, and return them to you herewith. If the supply in your hands is not now complete I will make good any deficiencies if you will supply the necessary cards. It would be a great convenience to our officer if a tax of this nature, which is not applied for the benefit of the person on whose name it is imposed, could be collected in a less vexatious way, by a regular payment by the Society's cheque. The person concerned in this case is not in receipt of weekly wages correspondence to weekly stamps, and the application of the weekly stamped card ti such a case unnecessary labour and the risk of omissions.' |
