Description'The Physics and Chemistry Committee at their meeting last week had under consideration the paper by Mr Oxley, on which you were good enough to report a short time ago; and I am directed to ask if you will kindly say if the revised paper meets your criticisms. I accordingly send you the original paper, together with a revised version, which the author sent in before he received my letter containing the suggested recemmendations.'
