Description'The President and Council at their meeting last week had before them three applications for grants in aid of publishing papers by the Linnean Society, namely:- The 6th volume of the Percy Sladen Trust Expedition; a paper by H Takeda and C West on the Anatomy of the Isoletes japonica; a paper by C F Swynnerton on Experiments and observations on the interpretation of form and colouring.
After discussion the Council I decided to make a grant of £150 to the Linnean Society in aid of their publications generally.'
