Date5 August 1915
Description'The Royal Society is desirous of preparing a list of those men of science who are either serving abroad now with the Forces or would be willing to serve abroad, and for that purpose, in addition to the information supplied by the Register which they are forming here, would be very glad to have any similar information from the Register which it is understood the Physical Society has complied. I am therefore directed to express the hope that your Society will be willing to place this information at the disposal of the Royal Society.'
