TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to The Hon. Secretary, British Ornithologists' Union, Zoological Society, N.W.
Date18 April 1916
Description'Dear sir,
I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of yesterday and to say that the desire of the British Ornithologists' Union will be noted. A movement is on foot for a meeting to be held to consider such common action as you refer to, but the Royal Society has so far not discussed the matter, and no action can be taken until it has been discussed by Council, which does not meet now until the middle of May.'
