TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Joseph Thomson, O.M., PRS
Date31 March 1916
Description'Dear sir Joseph,
The two Secretaries have been revising the terms of the instructions to the Reserved Occupations Committee as settled yesterday by Council, and have asked me to submit them to you for your approval in their final form before I send them on to the Board of Trade and to the Committee concerned. I shall therefore be glad to have the enclosed back at your earliest convenience with your apporval or amendments.
Dr. Schuster thinks it will be a good plan to have a meeting of the Executive Committee next week to consider two or three doubtful cases which have arisen already, and to discuss general lines of action. I am accordingly at his request consulting Mr.Threlfall, whom he thinks we ought to secure for the first meeintg before proposing a time either on Thursday or Friday next.'
