TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to G. E. Evans Esquire
Date15 March 1917
DescriptionReponse to an earlier enquiry from G. E. Evans Esquire on the diary of Sir Joseph Banks. Informs Mr. Evans that no such diary is in the possession of the Society. Suggests that he apply to the authorities of the British Museum Department of Manuscripts instead. As to a portrait of Sir Banks in earlier life, suggests the portraits by Benjamin West and [Joshua] Reynolds, both of about 1771.
