TitleCopy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. [Aubrey] Strahan, Chairman of the Geology Committee and FRS
Date3 May 1917
DescriptionRefers to Mr. [Richard Dixon] Oldham's paper ['The support and origin of the mountains of central Asia']. Explains that the second referee's report is hardly more favourable than the first. Notes that the paper must either be shelved, or Mr. Oldham must be asked to reconsider it in light of the criticisms. Suggests the matter may be better dealt with by the Geology Committee.
