TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. [Arthur] Schuster, Secretary of the Royal Society
Date8 October 1917
DescriptionInforms Dr. [Arthur] Schuster that he had not felt justified in trying to get the meeting of officers on Thursday put off, due to the short notice and to the fact that that would not have left enough time in between the officers meeting and the Council meeting. However, notes that, as can be seen from the enclosed agenda, there is not enough business to justify bringing Dr. Schuster all the way up from Hinhead [not enclosed]. Assures Dr. Schuster that he will send him lists of the people who have a claim to come on the Council again in order to give him a chance to think it over prior to the Council meeting on the 18th.
