Description | Informs Sir Joseph John Thomson that both he and Mr. [William Bate] Hardy forgot to bring forward [at the Council meeting] the question of lending two vacant rooms upstairs to a department of the Minsitry of Munitions which is looking after the collection of chestnuts for acetone making. Notes they need accommodation for two weeks only, and will impose no burden on the Society's staff or arrangements. Asks for Sir Thomson's confirmation as to whether or not they should offer their accomodation. |
