TitleCopy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. [Carl Hamilton] Browning, FRS
Date22 October 1917
DescriptionRefers to Dr. [Carl Hamilton] Browning's and Dr. [Sidney] Russ' paper, 'The Germicidal Action of Ultra-violet Radiation'. Informs Dr. Browning that their results seem to have been already previously described by Mr. Barnard and Mr. Morgan in a paper published in the 'Proceedings' of 1903-4, volume 72. Notes that the fact Dr. Browning does not mention this in his own paper is regretable, and suggests some reference to it should appear in the next issue of the 'Proceedings'.
