DescriptionInforms Mr. Henry Balfour that plans for the anthropological expedition to Uganda, funded by Mr. P. Jeffrey Mackie and under the direction of Reverend John Roscoe, are now going ahead. Informs Mr. Balfour that the Society has appointed a Committee to administer Mr. Mackie's fund and asks if he would consent to serve as a member of this Committee. Notes that other members include: Mr. Walter [Hume] Long, Sir James [George] Frazer, Dr. [Arthur] Keith, Dr. [Alfred Cort] Haddon, Professor [Grafton] Elliot Smith, Dr. [William Halse Rivers] Rivers and Mr. [William Bate] Hardy.
