DescriptionAdvises he has been instructed by the Council of the Royal Society to send the enclosed report [not enclosed], submitted to them by the Engineering War Committee to the secretaries of all other War Committees, and to request all meet together to consider the questions of the preservation and publication of the records of their committees acts as War Committees of the Royal Society. The objective is to create a collective record of the Royal Society's contribution to the war effort. Asks when it would be convenient for Professor Smith to meet the other Committees, and he will schedule a generally convenient date.
