DescriptionRegarding the National Physical Laboratory pension fund account, requests Power of Attorney for the transfer of £12176.10.11 two and a half percent Consols standing in the name of the President [Sir Joseph John Thomson, PRS], Council and Fellows of the Royal Society E Account. Advises the transfer is to be made to Sir Richard T [Tetley] Glazebrook, FRS, and the power sealed in Council 23 October. [Underneath a very faded signature is printed 'Treasurer, Royal Society,' who in 1919 was Sir Alfred Bray Kempe, FRS, however the signature that can be seen is more similar to Sir William Bate Hardy, FRS, Secretary of the Royal Society. There is what may be a second signature below this].
