TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to FE [Frank Edward] Smith Esq, FRS
Date20 October 1919
DescriptionAdvises in response to an enquiry that it has been the practice to send back issues of the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' to subscribers from 1 January, notwithstanding receiving the subscription late, and they would regard it as late up until March. This year subscriptions have run months beyond this, and sending back issues out in these circumstances is inconvenient, they never envisioned this being as late as October. He does advise that if the recipient sends on the subscription he mentions, they will send the back issues to keep faith with the subscriber.
