DescriptionAdvises that Dr [Sir Arthur] Schuster has given him the letter sent by Professor CH [Charles Herbert] Lees, FRS, to answer. Dr Schuster agrees that the final edition of the report of the Council of the Royal Society should be altered by changing 'Science Abstracts' to 'Abstracts of Physical Papers.' The physics section of the National Research Council for Physics has been referred by the Council of the Royal Society to the Conjoint Board of Scientific Societies to get the opinion of the special societies, and advises it will come to him at the Physical Society from the Conjoint Board of Scientific Societies, with their opinion on subjects such as statutes.
