TitleCopy letter from Sir William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [Karl] Pearson, FRS
Date9 December 1919
DescriptionAdvises that Mr Usher's paper has been withdrawn from the meeting on Thursday in response to Professor [Karl] Pearson's letter [the paper is temporarily withdrawn]. Advises he has read the paper again and is tempted to recommend it for publication with a reduced number of figures, or with their being reduced in size. His suggestion would be that one coloured plate of the 'Transactions of the Royal Society' be placed at Mr Usher's disposal. He comments 'His drawings are very beautiful.'
