TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Walter [Morley] Fletcher, FRS
Date17 December 1919
DescriptionAdvises that as he paid for the drawings and plates he should have the copies for free, and Harrison has given instructions to this effect. Mott will get 50 copies and 25 will go to the Medical Research Council. Advises that nothing can be done with his suggestion that Fellows return copies of the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' they do not wish to keep, as some Fellows bind sets while others pick out what they want and discard the remainder, and says 'I do not suppose many of them commit the folly of actually shooting them into the waste-paper basket.' He will send the suggestion to the Library Committee.
