DescriptionIn response to his letter of 15 December, advises he has marked Mr Usher's paper as withdrawn and returns the manuscript. Highlights Standing Order 40, that a paper that has not been read may be withdrawn as long as the original or a certified copy remains with the Royal Society. The illustrations are normally returned but the text must be deposited in the Royal Society Archive.
