DescriptionRegarding the Tyndall Studentship, advises that the appointment could not take place until the October meeting of the Council of the Royal Society, and Dr [Arthur] Schuster, FRS, has advised advertising in September and October, for the Committee to make a decision in late October. If Dr JS [John Scott] Haldane, FRS, knows of someone suitable it is suggested the Chairman ask the views of the Committee now by correspondence. Mr Neville, who applied the previous May, requested his application stand for future nomination.
