DescriptionRegarding the paper 'The development of the auditory apparatus in Sphenodon Punctatus' by Mr FJ Wyeth and communicated by Professor Dendy, the Zoology Committee have advised a lengthy abstract will be published in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' without delay, but due to considerable cost, publication of the full paper must stand over for the present. Requests Professor [Arthur] Dendy, FRS, asks the author to prepare and send the abstract. [Signature of sender absent, probably faded].
