DescriptionIn response to a letter of the 21 January, says it appears they are requesting to be put on the Royal Society's gratis list for the 'Transactions of the Royal Society' and the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society.' Advises that membership of the Royal Society does not arise in connection to this. Asks that they formerly apply to the Secretaries of the Royal Society giving the grounds of their application. [Secretaries of the Royal Society at this time are Sir William Bate Hardy, FRS, and Sir James Hopwood Jeans, FRS]
