TitleCopy letter from AH White, Assistant Librarian of the Royal Society; to Dr GDH Carpenter
Date11 February 1920
DescriptionAdvises he sees no reason why Dr Carpenter should not go ahead with his book, quoting from the reports now being printed by His Majesty's Stationary Office, although he cannot say when these reports will be issued. The only difficulty is that the blocks for reproducing the figures are the property of the Stationary Office and not the Society, so he will need to apply to the Controller, who might allow a loan to the printers of Dr Carpenter's book, or more likely allow Dr Carpenter to reproduce the blocks at his own expense, subject to the usual acknowledgements.
