TitleCopy letter from unknown correspondent, [Secretary of the Royal Society]; to Professor EW [Ernest William] MacBride, FRS
Date26 February 1920
DescriptionAsks if [Lancelot Thomas] Hogben, FRS, could be requested to further shorten his paper; the [Zoology] Committee believe that the length for papers of the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' should not exceed the 24 pages prescribed, but Hogben's paper would be 30 pages as it stands. If not, the committee will consider its suitability for the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society.' [Author is a Secretary of the Royal Society, but his signature is not visible. Secretaries at the time were Sir William Bate Hardy, FRS and Sir James Hopwood Jeans, FRS].
